Tropical Colors is a family owned and operated business located in the lush rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. We started our business in 1987 because of our love for farming these beautiful exotic flowers.

The Big Island of Hawaii or “Orchid Isle” is known for it’s vast agricultural diversity and beauty. It is also known for it’s active volcano which produces the rich volcanic cinder in which these flowers are grown. Our farm is located on the east side of the island where the annual rainfall reaches 154 inches per year. These conditions are the perfect environment for growing these beautiful topical flowers.
